Top 10 Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Movies

Yes, this list was supposed to come out last week with the release of Central Intelligence, but I couldn’t find the time so here we are. The Rock is one of my favorite actors to watch working now.  The dude oozes charisma.  That being said it was hard to get this to 10 movies.  I succeeded, but not all of these are “good” by any means. This is a list I will have to revisit later on because the guy has a movie coming out every month until he dies I think.  Seriously, according to IMDB he has 17 projects in development right now. Seven. Teen… That’s insane. Anyway let’s get to it:

10. San Andreas

– It was a close race between this and The Scorpion King. It came out about 20 years too late and isn’t a great movie but there is some fun to be had with it.

9. GI Joe Retaliation

– This is a movie I want to like more than I do. It has its moments and is a lot better than the first, but the movie just doesn’t quite work, despite The Rock’s best effort.

8. The Other Guys

– It’s a small, yet hilarious part for him so it makes the list.

7. Snitch

– The Rock tries a bit more of a drama role here and the movie… almost succeeds.  Not bad but not great either.

6. Faster

– This is an underrated, smaller movie he was in that has some pretty awesome scenes in it and is worth a watch.

5. Walking Tall

– The Rock kicks some serious you know what in this movie and it is actually a solid movie in my opinion.

4. Furious 7

– This one and the 6th one are about even for me, but this one falls lower due to the fact that he has a smaller role.

3. The Rundown

– Honestly I haven’t seen this in a while so it may be too high.  But I remember it being a ton of fun and very entertaining.

2. Fast and Furious 6

– See Furious 7 above.

1. Fast 5

– Still by far my favorite Fast and Furious movie, due in no small part to The Rock’s addition to the series.

Honorable Mention: The Scorpion King
